Japanese language club in Southend Essex

I joined Ayako sensei's Japanese language club in September 2022, and one of the things I really like about it is the variety of teaching methods she uses. No two weeks are exactly the same; there could be a mixture of, for instance, a video for us to shadow the speech, various word games, exercises from the textbook etc. Some of the time we are together as the whole group, or we might be in small groups in breakout rooms for a bit. At the start of the session, we are encouraged to exchange our news from the week, with Ayako sensei kindly & gently helping us, so that we learn new words & expressions. Ayako sensei is on a mission to help us to speak like Japanese people! Language club is a good name for it, it's a place where we enjoy each others' company and learn the language; I'm very glad I joined, thank you Ayako sensei!
